From 27th November to 24th December, join us for our Festive Dining Menu, filled with comforting seasonal flavours and a few Chestnut Horse favourites. Expect Avington Trout, Prawn Cocktail and Smoked Chicken & Ham Hock Terrine to start, followed by Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Turkey, Fillet of Bream or Pumpkin & Sage Ravioli. Save room for Christmas Pudding, Tiramisu Trifle or a classic Winter Berry Crumble.

On Christmas Eve, settle in for a festive drink, a bite to eat or simply soak up the festive cheer as Christmas begins. Bring the family, meet friends and raise a glass together.
CHRISTMAS DAY
Make Christmas Day one to remember with a generous three-course feast at The Chestnut Horse. Start with Lobster & Crayfish Cocktail, Heritage Beetroot or Smoked Chicken & Ham Hock Terrine, followed by your choice of luxury Wellington – Turkey Crown, Beef Fillet, Avington Trout or Winter Squash. All served with duck fat potatoes, pigs in blankets, fried sprouts and seasonal vegetables for the table.
Finish with Christmas Pudding, Tiramisu Trifle, Apple & Winter Berry Crumble or Triple Chocolate Brownie.

BOXING DAY
Keep the Christmas celebrations going with a relaxed Boxing Day Brunch. Gather around the table for a Chestnut Ploughman’s, Fish Ploughman’s or Vegetarian Ploughman’s, or settle in with one of our burgers. Pair it with a Bloody Mary or Virgin Mary and make an afternoon of it.

NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS
See out 2026 with a New Year’s Eve celebration at The Chestnut Horse – the perfect place to gather for a drink, a bite to eat and a little pre-midnight cheer before the celebrations continue.
When New Year arrives, enjoy a leisurely New Year’s Day Brunch. Share a proper Ploughman’s, indulge in a Chestnut Smash Burger or Buttermilk Chicken Burger and spend time with those you love.
